01 / CONTEXT
The brief
The California Institute for Regenerative Medicine needed ongoing stewardship of a large public web estate. The work combined Drupal and WordPress operations with a website refresh and mobile-first redesign. Content structure, vendor coordination, and code maintenance were all part of the role.
02 / RESPONSIBILITY
What I owned
- Manage content operations across more than 6,000 pages and fifteen content types.
- Lead the search for a website refresh agency and manage vendor coordination.
- Technically manage the redesign while maintaining code, documentation, and operational support.
03 / EXECUTION
How the work was delivered
I worked on landing pages, rich-content page building, and the technical delivery of the mobile-first redesign. The hosting and delivery environment included Acquia, Pantheon, Cloudflare CDN, and self-hosting. Product specifications and runbooks supported both planned changes and day-to-day operations.
Drupal code maintenance included responding to the vulnerability commonly known as Drupalgeddon. The portfolio records successful defensive maintenance during that period.
04 / EVIDENCE
Delivery and evidence
- Maintained a public content estate of more than 6,000 pages with fifteen content types.
- Coordinated the technical and vendor work behind a mobile-first website redesign.
