01 / CONTEXT
The brief
Sonic’s Systems Operations Center connected software development with the infrastructure behind customer services. The project portfolio included an ACH payments integration, an eero mesh Wi-Fi service, and the launch of an IP broadband product group. Each involved both product decisions and operational delivery.
02 / RESPONSIBILITY
What I owned
- Coordinate six full-stack developers and six systems administrators.
- Manage product work for the ACH payments integration.
- Manage projects for the eero Wi-Fi service and IP broadband product launch.
03 / EXECUTION
How the work was delivered
The role brought requirements, service design, and delivery planning into the same conversation. I worked across product and service design, design thinking, and UX/UI to connect customer-facing behavior with the supporting systems.
Planning used Jira with Scrum and Kanban alongside Waterfall projects. That mix reflected different delivery needs within the program. The central responsibility was coordination: helping software and systems specialists work toward shared product and launch objectives.
04 / EVIDENCE
Delivery and evidence
- Coordinated a twelve-person group spanning development and systems administration.
- Owned product or project responsibilities across payments, Wi-Fi, and broadband initiatives.
- Connected service design with the teams responsible for implementation and operations.
