01 / CONTEXT
The brief
Datava’s customers needed more than access to a data platform. Credit unions, banks, and manufacturers needed implementations that connected product capabilities with their operating workflows. Projects covered onboarding, CRM, data warehousing, incentives, referrals, loan pipelines, analytics, and reporting.
02 / RESPONSIBILITY
What I owned
- Manage ten engineers delivering data-driven SaaS through professional services.
- Own a portfolio of client projects across the engagement lifecycle.
- Coordinate stakeholder communication, project plans, engineering capacity, and customer-success scorecards.
03 / EXECUTION
How the work was delivered
I connected customer roadmaps with the engineering work needed to deliver them. That included lean product specifications, documentation, Kanban planning, QA, and go-live coordination. Regular meetings and explicit plans kept clients and delivery teams aligned on scope and progress.
Engineering leadership included mentoring, running standups, and triaging project resourcing. The customer-success scorecard provided a structured way to review each institution’s engagement alongside its active projects. The work joined delivery management with ongoing customer relationships.
04 / EVIDENCE
Delivery and evidence
- Maintained ownership across onboarding, implementation, and continuing customer engagement.
- Coordinated a ten-engineer professional-services team across a broad set of product modules.
- Connected project delivery, resource allocation, and customer-success reviews within the same operating process.
